I’ve always been fascinated by traveling, exploring different cultures, and learning about new ways of life. I love extracting beautiful insights from the countries I’ve visited or lived in and applying them to my daily life—no matter where I am in the world.

In fact, I wrote an entire book about this! Inspirations from Abroad for a Happier Life at Home explores what we can learn from different cultures and how adopting certain mindsets, customs, and philosophies from around the world can help us lead a more joyful, balanced, and fulfilling life. I share insights from the nine countries where I’ve had the opportunity to live for extended periods—each of which has shaped my perspective in unique ways. Moving to a new country can be an exciting yet challenging experience. It often shakes up our beliefs, exposes us to different phases of culture shock—from the initial honeymoon phase to feelings of frustration or adjustment—and requires us to rebuild support networks from scratch, from finding new doctors and dentists to discovering local communities and daily essentials.

Recently, I hosted a Vision Setting & Vision Board Workshop to help participants map out their goals and aspirations for 2025. It was a truly special experience!
